Roxanne LaCarte - Kookhitaan

Roxanne Lacarte has been on the The Dáanaa Jíli (Cache) Trust since January of 2020. She was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon and is a member of the Kookhitaan clan. She is the only daughter to Dianna and Guenther Mueller, grand daughter to the late Walter and Mary Huebschwerlen. She currently lives at the Carcross Corner just outside of Whitehorse.

Roxanne has worked in various Human Resources capacities for the government of Yukon since 2009 and has worked as a Human Resource Manager for the Council of Yukon First Nations and Human Resource Director for the Carcross/Tagish First Nation, and Selkirk First Nation.

Roxanne received the Premier’s Award of Excellence for her work on the COVID-19 vaccination team and she currently volunteers on the board of directors for The Nelson Project.
